Kiser Harriss Chemical Distribution Centers

             DALLAS     SOUTH BEND

Kiser Harriss was formed in 1962 in Charlotte, North Carolina, by Mr. Carl Baxter, who saw great promise in public warehousing and related services.  In 1972 Herb Harriss joined the company after a first career with DuPont, and he quickly established Baxter Harriss (as it was formerly known) as a leader in the Southeast in chemical logistics.

The company became a subsidiary of LOGISCO in 2000, but was repurchased by Drew Harriss, John Kiser, and Herb Harriss in June of 2005.

Herb Harriss remains as a consultant, but retired from day to day operations in 2005.  In 2009, the company's name was changed to Kiser Harriss Chemical Distribution Centers to more accurately reflect the ownership and chief core competency of the company.
