Kiser Harriss in Belmont, North Carolina, is a third-party logistics provider specializing in warehousing and transportation. We handle mostly chemicals. Kiser Harriss was formed in 1962 in Charlotte, North Carolina, by Carl Baxter. In 1972, Herb Harriss joined the company after an initial career with DuPont and quickly established Baxter Harriss (as our company was formerly known) as a leader in the Southeast in chemical logistics. The company became a subsidiary of LOGISCO in 2000 but was repurchased by Drew Harriss, John Kiser, and Herb Harriss in 2005.
In 2009, the company's name was changed to Kiser Harriss Chemical Distribution Centers to more accurately reflect the ownership and chief core competency of the company. Together, the principals have more than 80 combined years of industry experience.
